Holocaust Is Not a Hoax, Hadassah of Indonesia Denies Haikal Hassan

Haikal Hassan, Pro-Palestine Activist:

So, this is too much and it is too obvious to defend Holocaust. If you (Rabbi Yaakov Baruch) say it’s history, I can tell you history in more detail when I come to meet you to say that the Holocaust is the biggest hoax. You may know Arthur Jones, very well known in America, a historian and I have records and communications with professors of the Holocaust stating that the Holocaust was not that big and should not be exaggerated. So that the Holocaust became an arena for raising millions of dollars for Israel.

TV Host:

You (Haikal Hassan) said the Holocaust was the biggest hoax. Monique Rijkers, please comment.

Monique Rijkers, Founder of Hadassah of Indonesia:

When it comes to data, I once wrote for the German media DW in Indonesian about the Arolsen Archives. It’s the official data archive from Germany itself on the number of Jewish names. This data was collected from the British Red Cross, American Red Cross, by the allied countries who came to liberate the Nazi concentration camps. Germany lost the war during the Second World War, this is a world history lesson. So in terms of numbers, Holocaust data should be asked directly to German authorities and so far the world has commemorated January 27th as Holocaust Remembrance Day which the number is recognized 6 million people. So please, we as Pancasilaists, we certainly respect the dignity of fellow human beings, including of course the Jews. We have Pancasila. We are in Indonesia, of course, we must too….., although if you say there is no direct relevance to Mr. Haikal Hassan, but there are also people connected with the Holocaust. Rabbi Yaakov’s family, my family, maybe many others. But on the other hand, ladies and gentlemen, we in Indonesia cannot sort the history of the world arbitrarily. Can’t pick and choose, no..no! World history is ideally taught in its entirety to children, for education. This Nazi ideology is an anti-Jewish ideology, don’t let it be imitated in Indonesia. That’s why Holocaust education is important. Don’t let the Nazi ideology inspire Indonesians, young Indonesians.

I understand, this is funny and very funny. Why did I say funny? Precisely Pancasila and the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution. The opening of the the Holocaust Museum hurts Pancasila

Monique Rijkers, Founder of Hadassah of Indonesia:

Just and Civilized Humanity (Pancasila, the second principle), humanity can not pick and choose. Indonesia respects human dignity, all people… Chinese, Indians, Arabs, Jews too, Mr.(Haikal)

Monique, Monique …. you should be shamed to be seen by the whole of Indonesia with this way of thinking. Colonization over the world, is unacceptable.

Monique Rijkers, Founder of Hadassah of Indonesia:

The history of the Holocaust has nothing to do with colonialism. This is genocide, a crime against humanity.

The Holocaust cannot be separated from Israel and Palestine. If we support the Holocaust, we support Israel. When that support occurs to Israel, it is anti-Pancasila. In fact, it is anti-preamble to the 1945 Constitution.

Monique Rijkers, Founder of Hadassah of Indonesia:

Leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Yasser Arafat visited the Anne Frank Museum, a Holocaust victim in Amsterdam, in 1998. Yasser Arafat visited the Holocaust Museum. So, ladies and gentlemen, if it is related to Palestine, Yasser Arafat came to the Holocaust victims’ museum, so why are you so busy refusing the Holocaust Museum (in Minahasa)?

Definitely refuse! Holocaust Museum (in Minahasa) hurts Indonesia Constitution.

Five Principles of Pancasila, the foundation of Indonesian state

  1. Belief in the one and only God (Ketuhanan yang Maha Esa)
  2. A just and civilized humanity (Kemanusiaan yang Adil dan Beradab)
  3. Unity of Indonesia (Persatuan Indonesia)
  4. Democracy, led by the wisdom of the representatives of the people (Kerakyatan yang Dipimpin oleh Hikmat Kebjaksanaan dalam permusyawaratan/perwakilan)
  5. Social justice for all Indonesian people (Keadilan Sosial bagi Seluruh Rakyat Indonesia)
